Our Special Education Needs (SEN) Department is dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs through individualized care, expert support, and inclusive practices aligned with the highest standards.
Our Commitment
We proudly follow the guidelines and instructions of the Ministry of Education (MOE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ensuring our SEN programs meet national expectations while embracing international best practices. Our team works closely with students, parents, and educators to create a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Who We Support
Our SEN department serves students who may experience challenges in areas such as:
- Learning disabilities
- Autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
- ADHD/ADD
- Speech and language difficulties
- Emotional and behavioral needs
- Physical or developmental delays
We conduct thorough assessments and provide personalized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure that each child receives the right support.
Program Features
- MOE-approved support services
- Certified special education teachers and specialists
- Speech, occupational, and behavioral therapy (in-house or through partners)
- Modified curriculum pathways where required
- Continuous monitoring and family collaboration

Admissions & Registration
Students may join the SEN program in one of two ways:
1. Direct Enrollment
Parents or guardians can directly register their children through our standard admissions process. An initial evaluation by our SEN team will help determine the level of support needed.
2. Tatweer Program Enrollment
Jeddah International School is also a recognized provider under the Tatweer Program in coordination with the Ministry of Education. Families referred through Tatweer will benefit from additional government-supported services and specialized resources.
Partnering with Families
We believe in a collaborative approach where families are vital members of the support team. Regular meetings, transparent communication, and progress updates ensure students are continually progressing toward their personal and academic goals.
